GERMAN PLANE CRASH
LOSS OF FIVE LIVES ICE FORMS ON WINGS (Reed. Mar. 13, 9 a.m.) MILAN, Mar. 12. A German aeroplane flying from Tripoli to Stettin crashed near Ferrara, owing to ice forming on the wings. Four officers and one civilian were killed. Two officers made safe landings by parachute descents.
