LOW-PRICED HOMES IN U.S.
WASHINGTON, Feb 7. The United States lumber industry announced to-day that it had prepared plans for homes which could be made available to buyers at a cost of 2s to 4s a day. Lumber manufacturer and lumber dealer associations said they had developed two basic house designs with a dozen architectural variations- which could be built for from £4OO to £OOO. These figures include the construction costs only.
