PATUTAHI NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) The first nleeting of the newlyelected committee *of the Patutahi Women's Institute was held recently, when the programme for 1939 was completed. Those present were Mrs. J. Atkins, president, Mrs. L. Walker, secretary, Mrs. A. Waddell, treasurer, Mesdames A. Jones. P. Saggers, L. Sefton, J. Manson, J. H. Monteith, L. Baty, and Miss R. Atkins. The members of the Boys' Brigade resumed their classes in the Patutahi Hall last week under the leadership of Mr. A. MeDiarmid. There are now 10 boys on the roll and all show .a keen interest in their work.
