TARANAKI STAKES WIN MEMORIAL TO PLAY ON SUCCESS OF TE 11UIA BIG INCREASE ON “TOTE” (For Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The weather was wet and the track holding for the second day of the Taranaki Jockey Club's meeting. The attendance was large. The totalisalor handled £22.588, compared with £15,234 10s on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £41,009, an increase of £12,307 10s.
