"NOT GENTLEMANLY"
NEW YORK, Feb. 1. It is not gentlemanly for a policeman to invite a woman to shoot dice with him and then, win, lose or draw, have her arrested for gambling, ruled Judge Alfred Stever in freeing Elsie Sharrar, accused of dice-playing in Cleveland, Ohio. Miss Sharrar said that Police Constable Frank Stimson had invited her to play and was Is ahead when fellow officers broke up the game and arrested her.
