SUBSIDY ON FRUIT
STATEMENT REPUDIATED
(Pit Prnss Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In reference to a Press Association telegram from Christchurch on March 9, concerning statements reported to have been made by members and officials of the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' Association, Mr. A. Osborne, general manager of the federation, states: "This organisation dissociates itself entirely from these statements and further desires to point out that the pay-out for 1937 did not aggregate £40,000."
