STEAMER GOES DOWN
CREW OF 60 LANDED
ONE SIAMESE KILLED
(Reed. March 11, 9 a.m.) SINGAPORE, March 10.
Following an explosion which killed one Siamese in the engineroom, the steamer Malini, bound for Bangkok from Singapore, sank near Mersing. Her crew of CO got to land in the lifeboats.
