OBITUARY
A resident of Auckland for nearly 75 years, Mrs. Annie Eliza Spragg, Archill, has died in her 84th year. Mrs. Spragg was .born in Birmingham in 1856 and came to New Zealand with 'her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ball, in .the. Scimitar in 1864. During the Maori War the family lived for a period in the barracks at Albert Park, but tfliey later played a pioneering part in settling land in the Kaipara district.
