P. Guthrie acting as chairman. A vote of condolence was passed with the relatives of the late Mrs. C. U. O'ConneH. The chairman mentioned with appreciation the support given to the election fighting funds by Maoris of the district, and also the help given by a Maori orchestra in connection with Labour Party fixtures. Mr. Guthrie also referred to the work of a ladies' committee, and thanked the members for their services. Officers for the following year were elected as under: —President, Mr. J. P.
