CREDITORS GET GEMS
LONDON, Jan. 20. A valuable collection of jewels and antiques belonging to Stanley William Tanfield, former Toronto real estate [broker, who is now serving a sevenyear prison term for fraud in this country, has been recovered by his creditors. Bankruptcy proceedings had run concurrently with his fraud trial in July. After an extensive search the Tanfield property was found in London and provincial pawnbrokers' establishments and now will be auctioned at Christie's.
