JAP. PLANES IN CHINA UNION JACK IGNORED TWO WAE OS DESTROY ED (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. March 10, 1.40 p.m.) SHANGHAI, March 9. While Union Jacks were flying, Japanese warplanes bombed the English Baptist mission and the Jenkin Robertson Hospital at Sianfu, destroying the operating theatre and the X-ray department and two wards of the hospital. A Chinese nurse was killed.
