SHIEKDOM OF KOWEIT
BRITISH PROTECTION APPEAL TO IRAQ (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, March 3. Replying to a question in the House of Commons, the Foreign Undersecretary, Mr. R. A. Butler, said that Britain recognised the sheikdom of Koweit as an independent Government under British protection and had made urgent representations to the Iraq Government to secure the cessation of propaganda in Iraq against the sheik.
