COUNTESS WEDS MEDIUM

.SECRET FOR SIN YEARS -LONDON, Jan. 21. A secret wedding between a spiritualist Countess and her “natural” medium six years ago was recently revealed in London. The bride was the Countess Louise di Salasco, god-daughter of the late Queen Mother of Italy. Queen Margherita of Savoy. The medium, Mr. Sydney Farmer, is an English spiritualist. “We have not made the wedding public before, as we felt we might receive adverse comment from those with whom we work,” the Countess said. “However, we have decided there is no reason why people should not know mow. I think it is the only time that a spiritualist has ever married her medium.” 1 The Countess met her husband in 1931 in Paris. Both were keenly interested in spiritualism. Together they went to Italy, where their work aroused much interest. They returned to Paris and met Madame Dreyfus, a Parisian spiritualist worker. “Early in 1932 I realised that Mr. Farmer and 1 were destined to work together all our lives,” added the Countess. "So we were married." | The Countess and her husband now live in a tiny flat in London. I “I can get no money out of my own ■ country,” she said. “1 have sold all my i jewellery except one ring.”
