ELECTION OF COMMITTEE A decision to plant trees in Tokomaru Bay as a centennial memorial was reached at a recent public meeting in Tokomaru Bay, a strong committee of seven being appointed. The chairman was Mr. J. Todd. After a discussion regarding the best uses any money collected could be put to, the following committee was elected. —Mrs. Grant, Messrs. P. Pewhairangi, G. Glen, Wilkins, G. G. Bignell, F. Thompson, and S. Lyle-Smythe. hon. secretarv. An effort is to be made to raise not less than £IOO.
