THEFT ALLEGED
UNION SERVANT CHARGED Described as a labourer and secretary. Stanley Horace James, aged 4i, was charged in the Auckland Police Court before Mr. C. R. Orr Walker, S M that between May 24 and December 1, being a servant of the Auckland Metal Workers Assistants Union he stole sums of money totalling £l3l 2s 7d, the property of the union. On the application of DetectiveSergeant J. Walsh, accused was remanded until March 16. Bail was fixed at £IOO.
