WORK APPRECIATED
HURUMUA OFFICERS (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. Reference to the outstanding success of the Huramua sports on February 3 was made by t)he president, Mr. A r Carroll, at a committee meeting oi the Wairoa County A. and P. Society. The president mentioned the work done by the secretary of the sports club, Mr. H. M. B. deLautour, who had devoted considerable time and work to make the outing the success it was. Mr. Carroll added that the society s funds had benefited as a result of the sports by between £77 and £7B. A vote of appreciation to Mr. deLautour and to Miss D. Glyoan was recorded for their work in connection with the sports.
