OVERSEAS MAIL POSTAGE
Many persons have not yet realised the changes made in overseas postage rates, and more particularly that the minimum rate to foreign countries is nbw 21d. In the last two mails from Auckland 8 per cent oi letters for Empire countries were insufficiently stamped, but 15 to 20 per cent of the letters to the United States and 10 per cent to other foreign countries were in this category. Some persons do not appear to regard the United States as a foreign land, and post letters to that country bearing the Empire rate of postage.
