BODY FOUND IN RIVER
BELIEVED MISSING MAN HAMILTON TRAGEDY (Por Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. A body believed to be that of a farm labourer, who had been reported missing from a private hotel earlier in the week, was,found floating in the Waikato River last evening. On Sunday a splash was heard in the river below the traffic bridge and it appeared as if someone had jumped from the bridge. The river was dragged without success and last evening, as a resident of Vardon road was swimming in the river, lie discovered the body of a man floating in midstream.
