A wash basin and hot and cold water are novelties in a car shown at the Berlin motor exhibition. It is a 92-horse-pbwer car, and the upholstery can be converted into . a double bed.
The correspondent of the Daily Telegraph in Berlin says the high degree of militarisation of the motor industry is reflected in the show. Many army tanks and armoured cars are on exhibition, also an amphibian which crosses rivers fully loaded. Most cars are super-streamlined and all comply with the decree restricting chassis ty'pes with a view to the rationalisation of the industry.
