Amongst Iho pictures are Somerscales' delightful sea study. “Off Valparaiso," from the original painting in the Tate Gallery, London, marked down to V-, tho well-known oilgraph “Dawn at I/-, and a number of glamorous garden scenes in heavenly blue at 4/-. An original etching, signed by A. Watson Ttwiibull, entitled “I he Dreaming Beauty ol an Autumn Day.” is for sale at 15/-. A printed slip stales that the number etched was limited to 300 artists’ proofs. Large gorfecous coloured garden scenes by Flora Pilkington are priced at 4/-: original water colours of delicti to lines, comprising English scenes, by W. Sands, and K. Pearson, run to .10/- each; and “Clolden Dawn," “Rosy Morn,” and other oilottes by Jean Lasallc are marked down to X/-. The collection, of which the abc vo is merely an outline, is well worth a visit of inspection, at Eastwotod's Book Store at the corner of Gladstone Road arid Derby Street.*
