FUTURE OF PALESTINE
LONDON DISCUSSIONS JEW AND ARAB DELEGATES PROPOSALS OP BRITAIN (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (British oniciiil Wireless.) Reed. 1.15 p.m. RUGBY, Mar. 7. The meetings in connection with the Palestine conference continue and this morning the Arab delegation resumed the discussions which engaged the attention of yesterday’s meeting. They were based on the British suggestions for the future of Palestine, which covered all outstanding aspects of the problem—constitutional, land and immigration. The objection of the Palestinian Arabs to certain features of these suggestions and their counter-suggestions are, it is understood, still under examination. Meanwhile the. attitude of the Jewish delegates remains unchanged and so far the British suggestions have not been accepted as a basis of discussion. An informal meeting between the British and Jewish representatives late last night continued for two hours and at the conclusion it was announced that a further informal meeting would take place shortly.
