Sydney Morning Herald Photo. HISTORIC PLANE. —The late Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s famous monoplane Southern Cross being reassembled, at the aeronautical museum at Mascot, Sydney. The plane was brought by road from Richmond, although still airworthy, in deference to the expressed wish of the late Sir Charles that it should not be flown again.
