WAIOEKA GORGE MISHAP
When the school bus was travelling up the Waioeka Gorge from Opotiki on Monday morning to pick up schoolchildren, the vehicle took fire and was almost completely destroyed. The driver, Mr. I?. Anderson, escaped uninjured. No children were in the bus at the time. The bus was owned by Mr. L. M. Bell.
