LOISEL CUP CRICKET

RUATORIA BEAT TE ARAROA

In a cricket match played in Te Araroa last week-end for the Loisel Cup, Ruatoria were successful in their challenge, having an easy victory over Te Araroa. Ruatoria in their first innings made 181, B. Tuheke, 100, P. Hati, 36, and B. Hati, 22, being the main scorers. B. Tuheke gave a bright display and included in his century two sixes and 11 fours. The most successful bowler for Te Araroa was G. Mills, who took six wickets for 68 runs.

Te Araroa were all out for 46, JKonia, 18, being the only batsman to reach double figures. P. Hati was in great form with the ball, taking eight wickets for 17 runs.
