GANG CHIEF TO DIE
PALEST!NE SENTENCE (Reed. Mar. 7, 3 p.m.) JERUSALEM, Mar. (i. Ahmed Simrin, aged 33, the leader of a gang called the “Red Death,” who has spent 11 of the last 14 years in gaol, has been sentenced to death for being found in possession of arms. \At Haifa an Arab jumped on the running board of an ambulance and shot Dr. Sternberg, a medical officer of Palestine, in the .shoulder.
