ART UNION DRAWN SHANNON TAKES SECOND ‘PLEASANT SURPRISE’ LIST GISBORNE £5 PRIZES (Pur Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The first prize of £2OOO in the “Pleasant Surprise” art union drawn last night went to an Auckland ticketholder. The second prize was won by a Shannon investor. The third went to Raetihi, the fourth to Greymouth, and the fifth to Palmerston North. Only one £lO prize came to Wellington.
