MOSQUITO PEST
NEW SPECIES NOTED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, thi« day. An unusually large number of mosquitoes have been noticed in Wellington this summer. Among them is a species uncommon locally. 'Dr E. S. Maclean, of the Health Department, said that the mosquitoes caused only imitation. There was no fear of disease from them. The department and the city engineer’s deparitment had been hunting out breedmg places-. Dr. Maclean said the uncommon species was apparent only in- small numbers.
