Robertson, Napier, who celebrated her ninety-first birthday on Thursday last, was born in Warwickshire, England, and came to New Zealand in the ship Joe Fletcher in 1856, landing at Lyttelton. She married the late Mr. David Robertson in 18C7. Her husband was the builder of the Star and Garter Hotel, Canterbury. After farming for some years in Canterbury, Mr. and Mrs. Robertson went to Napier 56 years ago, and they have resided in the town ever since.

Miss June Shannon, who lias been the guest of Miss Janet Jefferd, Tokomam Bay, paid a brief visit to Miss Jill Williams, Fitzherbcrt street, while passing through Gisborne on her return to Feilding, and left for the south today.

The Misses Molly and Sally Russell, of Little Flaxanere, Hastings, are both leaving shortly on sea trips. Miss Molly Russell sails for England on March 30 and Miss Sally Russell leaves for Bermuda on March 24. They intend selling their home at Little Flaxmere. In England Miss Molly Russell intends taking up interior decorating.
