N.Z. SCOTTISH REGIMENT
FORMATION APPROVED (Pur Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The official notification of the intention to form a New Zealand Scottish regiment, contained in the Gazette last night, reads: "The Gov-ernor-General is pleased to approve, under the Defence Act, 1909, of the formation of the under-mentioned unit of 'lie territorial force: A New Zealand Scottish regiment, with headquarters at Wellington."
