EMPIRE FLYING BOAT
(Reed. Jan. 3, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1
The flying boat Calypso, proceeding home with mails and two passengers from South Africa, came down in the English Channel owing to stormy weather.
A tug took off the passengers and towed the Hying boat to Cherbourg.
