DEPARTURE FOR TUNIS
DALADIER DELAYED PASSING OF BUDGET (Reed. Jan. 3, 9 a.m.) PARIS, Jan. 1. The Premier of France, M. Daladier, was forced to postpone has departure for Tunis owing to a delay in Parliament in the passing of the Budget. The Senate passed the Budget, after which it was referred to the finance committee of the Chamber of Deputies in which acute differences arose between the Rightists and Leftists. The Radicals accused the Socialists and Communists of deliberately provoking difficulties in order to prevent the departure of M. Daladier.
The Chamber passed the Budget by 372 votes to 229, after which M. Daladier left for Toulon.

(Reed. January 3, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 31
The Paris correspondent of the Manchester Guardian says that the Republican Federation, a Parliamentary group of 50 deputies, whose support is essential to M. Daladier's Government, passed a resolution declaring that it will withdraw its support if concessions are made to Italy beyond those contained in the 3935 agreement which Italy has just repudiated.
