(Per Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, this day. In fine though dull weather the Greymouth Jockey Club opened its mid-summer meeting on Saturday before a large attendance. The going was soft. Results:— Novice Stakes, of £7O; 5 furlongs.— 5 Wardress, 8.10, 1: 4 Papernilla, 8.10, 2; 2 Capricious, 9.1, 3. Scratched: Bahama Maid. Won by a length and a half: three lengths. Time, 1.12 4-5.
