SOMALILAND MOVEMENTS
ITALIANS AND FRENCH FRICTION AVOIDED OCCUPATION OF POINTS (F.tee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Dec. .li. 10 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 30. The Djibouti correspondent of • the Daily Telegraph says that Italian and French detachments'are moving near the ' undelimited ' Abyssinian-Frencn Somaliland frontier. Contested points have been occupied without friction.
Italian troop movements are stated to be concerned only with small bands of rebels.
Nevertheless, French troops are specially patrolling the slopes of Mussa Ali which, by the treaty with Abyssinia, are considered to be part of French Somaliland.
