The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board reports as follows on the Smi'thfleld market for the week ended Thursday, December 29: "Owing to the holidays this week the market for meat generally is quiet, with values unchanged.

"First arrivals of New Zealand lamb are selling slowly at from Bid to B:|d ex hooks.
