LONDON TO LISBON LESS THAN FIVE HOURS (Independent Cnblo Service.) (Reed. Dec. 30, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 29. Surveying the proposed British south Atlantic air route, a British Airways Lockheed XIV yesterday covered the journey from London to Lisbon in 4hr. 59min. at an average speed of 208 miles an hour. The machine to-day proceeds to Agadir and from there goes on to Dakar, reaching Bathurst on Saturday.
