Railway Passenger Traffic
The patronage extended to the railway during the Christmas period by the country residents in reach of ttie service was satisfactory, according to a statement made to-day by the stationmaster at Gisborne, Mr. J. W. Fergic. The special night train on Christmas Eve was greatly appreciated by those wishing to visit Gisborne for their Christmas shopping or at\ tend the theatre before returning home.
