WIFE-MURDER CHARGE
HUSBAND DETAINED MENTAL HOSPITAL (Pit Press Association.) NELSON, this day. Under the direction of the Minister of Justice, Arthur Frederick Kerr, aged 55, who was charged with murdering his wife on December 16 at Uruwhenua, is retained in the Nelson Mental Hospital for observation until January 24, 1939. The accused was charged before justices of the peace this morning.
