CHECKING ’PHONE CALLS
The installation of a telephone calllocking apparatus in the fire station, with a view to checking on calls made, particularly malicious and false alarms, on the brigade has been approved by the Hastings Fire Board. One of the additional advantages of the apparatus is that, apart from being "able to trace calls, the installation means that the station telephone will never be used for any purpose other thafi for alarms.
