TE KARAKA BOWLERS
CLUB COMPETITIONS (Herald CoiTesjioiideul.) Owing to the absence of many bowlers participating in only a few games have been played on the Te Karaka green this week. The results were: — Championship Singles-.—Lougher 18 v. Greggan 16; Greggan 19 v. Manuel 15. Roosters Competition. Hodgson and Wilson 20 v. A. Buckingham and Luttrell 15. Playing in the Poverty Bay tournament’in Gisborne this week were two teams from Te Karaka, including Lougher (skiip), A. Buckingham, Manuel and Wilson: Hodgson (skip), Greggan, McGrannachan and Luttrell. A team will visit Gisborne again next Monday to compete for the Peace Shield.
