HOSTILITY TO FRANCE INFLUENCE IN TUNISIA RELIANCE ON JEM’S “N LGHTMARE” IN COUNTRY (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Rcccl. Dec. 22. 3 p.m.) ROME, Dec. 21. The Italian press is changing its front over the claims to Tunisia and is alleging that France has failed in her colonising misison and now is dominating the country as the result of the influence of thousands of Jews who have degraded the natives into a state of slavery. The Italian press declares that nowhere else are the Jews' such masters and as a result Latins are subjected to the Jews. A .ypical statement is: “The Talmud has conquered the gospels and the Koran. The Jew is a nightmare throughout the country and a cloud darkening the sun of Latin civilisation.” The article containing this passage is published in several papers.
