The report of Dawsons, Limited, cn the London wool sales, says that the large proportion of Merinos somewhat severely tested the absorbing power of the markets at a rather critical time. Happily there was nc serious decline in values, although there was some irregularity. Manufacturers covered urgent requirements, but doubtless will want further stocks in the new year. Government orders assisted in the demand for crossbreds, which was also reflected at the New Zealand sales.
