RECORD PRIZE MONEY
N.Z. ROWING REGATTA ALLOCATION OF £250 (Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. What is believed to be a record in prize money was allotted last night by the committee appointed by the Marlborough Rowing Association to conduct the New Zealand championship regatta on Picton harbour on February 11.
The sum of £250 will be divided among the 11 events. The allocations for the championship races are: Fours and eights, £4O, £lO and £5; single and ‘double sculls and pairs, £ls and £5; Marlborough PfaTe fours, £lB and £5.
