BEQUESTS TO CHURCH

£3OOO FOR BUILDING FUND FOR CHARITIES A bequest of £3OOO will become available to St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Hawera, from the estate of the late Mr. John Hicks, who died at Hawera on October 23, on the termination of a life interest. The money is left to the church trustees to assist in building a new church should the project be undertaken before the. expiry of 20 years. If the building is not commenced by 1958 the £3OOO will be paid to the managers of the church for general church purposes. ‘«
