POLICE CHIEF DROWNED
LONDON, Oct. 17. Superintendent Henry Windle, of the Dublin Metropolitan Guards, was trapped in a motor car that ran over the quay wall into the River Liffey at Dublin last night. He was drowned. Two friends scrambled out of the ear as it sank in 10ft. of water.
