RECORD ENTRIES

A rdcord in the number of entries for a young bird show in Gisborne is claimed for the Poverty Bay Budgerigar and Cage Bird Society's exhibition, which will be held in the Selvyn Hall to-morrow. Over 150 birds will be exhibited and in one budgerigar class—adult coqk, any variety—32 birds will be displayed, the cages for these exhibits occupying a bench 4uft. in length.

Tne judging of the classes will be 'carried rut in the afternoon by Mrs. B. Wilcox, Gisborne, and the public will be invited to view the show between (i and 8 p.m., no charge being made for admission. In addition to a targe collection of budgerigars, there will be a good variety of British and foreign finches.
