CALF CLUB PARADE
JUDGING AT PATUTAHI YESTKK DAY’S (i ATI IKK IN (i (Herald Correspondent.) The cmmal calf club parade was held yesterday at the Patmahi School. Twenty-four calves and three yearlings were paraded 'before the judge, Mr. N. Burroughs, Manutuke. The results of the judging were:— July-August calves.—Douglas Bull. 1; Nancy Carswell, 2; Frank Dickenson, 3: Rex McGrannachan, 4. Sep tern ber-Oetober calves. Betty Dickenson, 1; Geoffrey Robb, 2; Rex MeGrannachau. 3, Ayrshire calves.—Gordon Cameron, 1; Ewan Cameron, 2 and 3. Yearlings.—Gordon Cameron, 1: Geoffrey Robb, 2: Ashley Braybrook, 3. Handling competition.—Frank Dickenson, 1: Betty Dickenson, 2; Douglas Bull, 3. Condition.— Douglas Bull, 1: Betty Dickenson, 2: 'Martin Baker, 3: Ewan Cameron. 4. At the conclusion of the judging the prize-winners were paraded and judged for the district competition, the results being:—Douglas Bull, 1; Belly Dickenson, 2; Geoffrey Robb, 3. The judging competition for school children resulted:—Ewan Cameron, V Gordon! Cameron, Frank Dickenson, and Ron Atkins, equal, 2.
