The Sydney Stock Exchange to-day was fairly active, but industrials were weaker, specially shares in retail stores. On the Stock Exchange of Melbourne to-day industrials were quiet with little variation. Barriers firmed on better overseas news. Fijian gold shares were still weak. Taranaki Oils were supported to-day on New Zealand account.
