DISTRICT HACK HANDICAP, of 105 sovs., including trophy value sgns., presented by Mr. M. J. Sheehan, for horses owned by Wairoa residents and trained in the district. To be in the district not later than the 2nd December, 1938. Second horse to receive 15 sovs., third horse 10 sovs., and fourth horse 5 sovs. from the stake. Nomination 20/-; acceptance 20/-. Distance, six furlongs. 3- WAIROA CUP (Open), of 150 sovs., including cup valued at 25gns., presented by the Clyde and Ferry Hotels.
