HEALTHY UNDERTONE AUSTRALIAN EXCHANGES SYDNEY, Nov. 18. Price movements for industrials Vended lower on the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day, but the market preserved a healthy undertone. Base metals shares, which have fluctuated during the week, are at present steady.

(JItAIN AND PRODUCE (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUHCH, this day. There has been little activity in the Canterbury grain and produce markets this week. In fact, the in-between-seasons period has been reached, and business will be practically at a standstill from now until the middle of January. The only line for which there has been much inquiry has been chaff, but merchants are finding good bright quality very difficult to obtain. Their price to farmers is £4 10s a ton. Business in the potato market has finished for the season, and other prices are only nominal in the meantime.
