PALESTINE CASUALTIES RIOTING TN SYRIA AGITATION FOR STRIKE (Eke. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Nov. 3, 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 2. A message from Jerusalem states that troops searching a village north from Ramnllah surprised a gang of which five members were killed and two wounded. A Beirut message states that 15 Arabs were injured and 40 arrested in a clash with police while demonstrating against the partition of Palestine. A general strike is advocated throughout Syria. Rioters stopped a funeral and burned the coffin on the roadside.
